Dilawri opens multi-storey JLR Vancouver store for new and used sales

Dilawri recently announced the opening of a new Jaguar Land Rover 79,996 square-foot, multi-storey new and used vehicle sales facility in Vancouver, B.C.

Located at 1788 West at the intersection of Burrard Street and West 4th Avenue, the new store appears modern with a sleek design that is easily identifiable and identical across the globe, Dilawri explained in a news release. It said the facility was built according to JLR’s ARCH retail concept, which is the OEM’s corporate identity initiative.

“We are very pleased to be opening JLR Vancouver’s new sales facility at such a marquee location at the heart of Vancouver,” said company Co-founder Ajay Dilawri in a statement. “Its striking design, spacious showrooms, and outstanding views of English Bay and Downtown Vancouver will allow us to offer memorable customer experiences for visitors from across the Lower Mainland.”

The dealership includes spacious showrooms that can fit more than 30 new and used vehicles, electric vehicle charging stations, and parking for more than 130 vehicles. Inside there are multiple vehicle elevators, LED lighting throughout, and an energy-efficient building envelope, among other things.

“JLR Vancouver’s new sales facility has been built with the customer in mind at every touchpoint, from our valet services to our showrooms, and the SV Bespoke personalization studio to our well-appointed hospitality areas, which feature light refreshments as well as complimentary Wi-Fi,” said Chris O’Neill, General Manager of JLR Vancouver, in a statement.

As for the JLR Vancouver service department located at 1730 Burrard Street, it will continue to operate there until the new service facility opens its doors in 2024. The new facility is currently under construction at 1601 West 2nd Avenue.
