    CULVER CITY, Calif., March 22nd, 2015- Sony Pictures Entertainment has closed a deal to adapt the Tony Award-winning Broadway smash "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" into a feature film, it was announced today by Doug Belgrad, president, Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group, and Michael De Luca, who serves as the studio's president of Production with Hannah Minghella. The hit show will be adapted by Douglas McGrath, who is also the writer of the musical's book.
