For Quorum President and CEO Maury Marks, the NADA Show 2020 had him boosting his daily step counts as he travelled between the Quorum and DealerMine booths, a CRM company the DMS provider acquired in 2018.

Marks said he was happy with the traffic and performance of this year’s show. “We were quite pleased. What was nice for us is not only to get a fair bit of traffic, but a lot of really meaningful conversations,” said Marks.

Marks said pre-booking booth demos and offering incentives for dealers who make their appointments is one strategy that helped boost their success at the show. “As a result of that, we both had our demo booths there. Then we had some walkup traffic that showed up and all the conversations were fantastic. There were buyers on both sides of the border,” said Marks during the NADA event.

Apart from showcasing the newest features within Quorum, the company also showcased their AutoVance desking tool. “We walked them through the sales processes right from lead management, to finding a piece of inventory to desking through AutoVance,” said Marks. “When we show that as one streamlined process, they just love it. And then went onto the service side and talked to them about DealerMine, which drives traffic into your service lane.”

The company launched a new product at the show called Power Lane, a fully mobile system that interacts in real-time with the embedded sales CRM within the XSellerator DMS. It’s designed to do vehicle walkarounds and end-to-send service for vehicle inspections. It provides transparency to the customer so they can see exactly which additional repairs might be needed. “They can see that on their phone and watch videos or see pictures, and decline or add things,” said Marks.

The functionality includes license and VIN scanning, intuitive advisor and technician inspections, automated service quoting and communication with customers via text or email, and signature capture.

The company also launched a new enterprise reporting tool. “It’s nice to have integrated business processes, but if you still have siloed reporting from all these different tools, that doesn’t really help you,” said Marks.

The enterprise reporting group tool goes across all the company’s different products, making it easier for dealerships to see and access their information.
