Dilawri recently announced that its new Audi Thornhill dealership facility is now open for business. Its existing Thornhill location will continue to operate for its Greater Toronto Area customers, and there will be a future Richmond Hill location.
Construction for the new facility began in February. After completion, Audi Thornhill’s new-vehicle sales, service, and parts operations transitioned from the old location to the new 40,000-square-foot facility at 7064 Yonge Street.
“Since it first opened, Audi Thornhill has operated on the guiding principles of convenience and flexibility, which will be reinforced by these new developments,” said Dilawri Co-founder Kap Dilawri in a statement.
In a news release, Dilawri said it is the first dealership in Canada to include Audi’s Progressive Showroom Concept. It features modern architecture, interactive digital elements, and space to explore all of the brand’s sales, service, and parts offerings.
“Audi Thornhill is entering into an exciting new era,” said Jordan Lin, the dealership’s general manager, in a statement. “These new and updated facilities will allow us to fulfill our goals while setting new standards, whether in terms of the ability to meet our customers’ needs by offering specialized new and pre-owned sales and services, or our capacity to connect with our communities.”
The other Thornhill location opened in July 2020 and its sales and service operations were being delivered from a temporary location. That store has now been converted into a permanent Audi Certified :plus pre-owned (CPO) sales location. The new facility is right across the street, so the two can act as complimentary locations to customers.
