Sym-Tech Dealer Services officially completed its acquisition of SSQ Dealer Services from the Beneva Group. SSQ Dealer Services is known for its protection products and services, which it provides to a large network of dealers throughout Quebec.
“SSQ Dealer Services has built a strong market presence over the last 20 years by consistently delivering performance to their dealers,” said Derek Sloan, president of Sym-Tech Dealer Services, in a news release.
The acquisition will allow Sym-Tech to expand its presence in the Quebec market, while the move itself presents “attractive” growth opportunities for the company.
The previous owner of SSQ Dealer Services, Beneva, is a large insurance mutual in Canada that was created by the coming together of La Capitale and SSQ Insurance. Beneva will remain the credit and replacement insurer for SSQ Dealer Services, which will be rebranded to Sym-Tech Dealer Services. The firm’s Regional Vice President Francis Vallée will continue to lead his team, now that the acquisition is complete.
