Policaro Group’s new facility to embrace ‘Acura Facility Modernization Program’

The Policaro Group recently announced a new location for its Policaro Acura in Brampton, Ont., which it said was moments away from Highway 410.

For this dealer group, Acura holds a very special place in the history of its business, since CEO Francesco Policaro’s first car was an Acura Integra GS. The new location also represents the group’s “Acura Facility Modernization Program,” which the company described as “transitioning to the future.”

“In the 35 years since Policaro Acura opened, the world has changed significantly, and the market for luxury cars has seen steady growth,” said Policaro in a statement. “This is why it brings me great joy to announce that Policaro Acura is a part of the Acura Facility Modernization Program. We are excited to see what the future will bring.”

Overseen by RH Carter Architect and designed by Weis & Associates, the new location spans 2.8 acres — with 35,000 square-feet expected for the facility itself. That facility will include a four-car Flex customer interactive centre, a 13-bay service department, an eight-car service reception, and a fully automatic car wash.

It will also feature three detailing bays and advanced electric vehicle charging infrastructure, according to the group’s news release. The groundbreaking ceremony is set to take place at 36 Ace Drive, Brampton, Ont., L6R 0A9.

In other news, the Policaro Group will be celebrating another achievement: its Northwest Lexus ground-breaking ceremony, which will take place on July 14 at 42 Ace Drive in Brampton (L6R 0A9). Larry Hutchinson, President and CEO of Toyota Canada will be one of the speakers at the event, along with the CEO of the Policaro Group and City of Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown.
