Go Auto acquires two dealerships in Canada

Go Auto, one of Canada’s largest dealer networks, recently acquired GNR Camping World of Winnipeg, Man., and Richmond Chrysler in Richmond, B.C., according to a recent news release.

The acquisition of GNR Camping World of Winnipeg helped Go Auto increase the number of RV dealerships it owns to four, and boosted its total dealership count to more than 60 across Canada and the United States. The group represents 28 new-vehicle brands.

“We welcome GNR Camping World to the Go Auto family as an exciting acquisition that extends the Go RV network across Canada,” said Phil Abram, President of Go Auto Group. GNR Camping World joins the group’s two existing Manitoba dealerships: Porsche Centre Winnipeg and Go Auto Haus Volkswagen Winnipeg.

Richmond Chrysler in Richmond, B.C., brings Go Auto’s dealership count to 11 in the Lower Mainland area. The acquisition aligns with the group’s commitment to expanding its dealer network in the area, while also strengthening its partnership with Stellantis — its OEM partner.

“We are excited to build on the success of Richmond Chrysler, while expanding the Go Auto brand presence in British Columbia,” said Abram of the B.C. acquisition.

The dealership joins other members of the Go Auto family in Richmond, including Audi Richmond, Columbia Chrysler, Volkswagen of Richmond, and Jaguar Land Rover Richmond.
