CBB’s 12th annual TalkAuto event coming up Nov. 8

Canadian Black Book’s annual automotive industry conference known as TalkAuto is set to take place on November 8 this year at the Universal EventSpace in Vaughan, Ont.

The event will be headlined by Kia Canada CEO Elias Al-Achhab, while the theme for the 2023 conference is “Driving forces behind the automotive evolution.” CBB said it was a fitting theme considering the state of flux in the auto sector, both in Canada and globally.

“The strength of the TalkAuto event has always been the ability to focus on timely content for the industry, which generates lively dialogue,” said Yolanda Biswah, President of Canadian Black Book. “Each year we sell out the venue, which can be credited to the quality of speakers and topic of conversation.”

In its news release, CBB said the 2023 panels will follow a similar model to last year’s. As an example, one of the panel of experts will explore the topic of “The Evolving Customer Journey.” Another, this one a group of auto industry leaders, will discuss “Changes in The Financing & Leasing of Vehicles.”

CBB said it will release the full list of panelists closer to the conference date. More information about the event is available here.
